Ski Resorts in Italy
Transfer in Italy from airports is one of the most popular services. And this demand is easily to explain: large amount of ski resorts of the country attracts thousands of tourists annually. The most popular resorts are:
- Val Gardena;
- Corvara;
- Arabba;
- Canazei;
- Ortisei.
Ortisei is a part of Val Gardena skiing area. And Val Gardena itself, along with Arabba, are two resorts that have access to the world-famous ski circuit Sella Ronda.
Val Gardena
Val Gardena consists of three villages: Ortisei, Selva, and San Cristina. This resort is a perfect place for skiers with huge experience. You can even meet professional skiers and top sportsmen training here because the trails of the valley meet their demands. Reaching Val Gardena is possible by one of these three options:
- Bus;
- Bus + Train;
- Taxi or transfer to Val Gardena.
When it comes to taking a bus, keep in mind that the schedule is not regular. When choosing this type of transport to get to the valley, you might end up spending several hours on waiting. The most optimal way is to take a taxi or transfer in Italy. Nowadays, this is a modern and convenient service that can be booked online and in advance. Visit transferitaly.ru to make a reservation.
There are two large trails in Ortisei, a village in Val Gardena valley. One of them is suitable for skiers with certain experience, and the second (called APLE DE SUISI) is a perfect place for beginners. Mild slopes and absense of big changes of elevations allow getting enough practice before trying your skills on more steep trails.
Arabba
This is the largest skiing region in the world. It includes all types of trails suitable for skiers of any level. Moreover, Arabba is an attractive natural resort, popular among both skiers and ordinary tourists. Exquisite Italian cuisine that's also a local hallmark, will impress everyone. Going to Arabba is possible by bus or booking transfer to Arabba.
Corvara
This is another ski resort in the Dolomites. It's especially loved by Russian tourists, who are traditionally in majority of the all guests coming here. And of course, wherever Russian people are, there should be police. The presence of police is easy to explain. Corvara is a large region for skiing, and to reach the parking of the resort, you have to make a huge detour. It's obvious, that some people don't wish to waste their time for that, so they drive through the skiing zones. As a result, these reckless drivers are getting huge fines. When going to Corvara, we advise to book transfer to Corvara. Experienced driver will take you directly to destination without any issues and necessity to deal with police.
Canazei
It's a resort village and a part of Val di Fassa zone that includes a diversity of different trails. There are simple slopes here, suitable for beginners of this wonderful winter activity, and quite steep slopes that might make experienced sportsmen a bit nervous. Easy navigation and well-developed transport is an advantage of this resort. For example, reaching the neighboring Bolzano village is possible with a bus. Bolzano itself is connected with main airports by a network of trains. However, if you want to reach another resort from Canazei, you will have to use one of these options: car rental or book transfer to Canazei.
