Night of museums has become a truly original event of our cultural life. It’s being held all over the world. The main advantage of this event is a possibility to visit museum during the night. However, this time is limited. Museums are open until midnight or 2 AM. The truth is that night of museums is held only one night annually (even several hours to be precise). It’s fact, the amount of people who want to visit cultural places is so enormous that a part of them can’t get inside anyway on a chosen day. Participation in European Night of Museums is supposed to increase the capacities and welcome more guests. Now, tourists are able to visit museums in any other country. Especially, those people who are traveling across Europe.  One more significant fact: a symbolic admission fee (1 euro) has been established to decrease the flow of visitors.

Despite the fact, that Night of Museums is being held in many countries and cities, it would be great to increase its popularity even more.  That’s why Italy also takes part in this event. The more global event is, the more famous it becomes.

Italy is the country where you can trace the whole history by walking in museums. These are some most prominent museums in Rome each person should visit at least once in his life:
